Ella Logan is a classically trained flutist and musician. Growing up, Ella received advanced training in classical music beginning at age 5. Ella is motivated to provide equal music education to all students, but especially those living in underserved communities. 


Ella has extensive orchestral and solo experience, including as principal flute and in auxiliary positions. In orchestra, she has had the opportunity to perform works including Holst’s The Planets, Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamophosis, Finizi’s In Terra Pax, Rimsky-Korsakov's Russian Easter Festival Overture, and more. Ella regularly plays at Montview Church where she can also be found conducting and supporting the children's choir. In December of 2024, Ella performed as second flute in the professional orchestra at Montview. Ella is a member of Colorado’s elite Denver Young Artists Orchestra (affiliate of Colorado Symphony Association). Ella holds a position in DYAO’s leading orchestra “Young Artists Orchestra” for the 2024-2025 season and recently performed alongside The Colorado Symphony. Recent performances include the orchestral suite of Catán’s Florencia En El Amazonas, Revueltas La Noche De Los Mayas and Schummann’s Symphony No.3.

Ella has been accepted into numerous highly competitive music school including Boston Conservatory and Bard Conservatory of Music among others. She has studied at competitive programs and been taught under the direction of some of today’s highest acclaimed flutists. Beginning in August, Ella will study under Dr. Tara Helen O’Connor at Bard Conservatory of Music.

Today, Ella gigs around different parts of Denver and loves to find ways of engaging the community with music. Ella will continue with a career as a professional musician, teaching, playing professionally in an orchestras, and seeking ways to engage underserved communities in music programs.
